The first disputable piece of art was a face shaped rock found clutched in the hand of an early human. It was the first time a human could process the idea of an external representation of something figurative or art. Since that time many cultures have flourished and waned creating and leaving behind pieces of revolution and masterpieces. Collections of great art exist all throughout the world but the greatest collection of western art can be found in the city of Florence. So that’s where I went.
